Problems from Square root of decimal numbers

Calculate the square root of $$a=783,623$$.

See development and solution

Development:

Since the number of fractional digits is odd, a zero is added at the end, and the root of the number is calculated: $$7 83 62 30$$.

The result is $$\sqrt{7836230}=2799,33$$.

The comma is moved two positions to the left, since there are two pairs of decimals, counting the added zero.

And so, $$\sqrt{a}=27,99$$

Solution:

$$\sqrt{a}=27,99$$
